It had less than three minutes to make it to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, but the Dana Airline flight from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, with 153 passengers on board could not make it.
It crashed into residential buildings at Olaniyi Street, Iju, a suburb of Lagos, killing more than 30 others on the ground. Below are some few pictures of victims when they were alive:

Please before you pass by, say this short prayer for the deceased:
Lord Jesus, our
Redeemer, You willingly gave Yourself up to death so that all
people might be saved and pass from death into a new life. Listen
to our prayers; look with love on Your people who mourn and pray
for their dead brothers/sisters. Lord Jesus, You alone are holy and
compassionate; forgive our brothers/sisters his/her sins.
By dying You
opened the gates of life for those who believe in You; do not let
Your children be parted from You, but by Your glorious
power give them light, joy, and peace in heaven where You live
for ever and ever. Amen.

This is very sad indeed. We should remember to pray for those left behind who are parted from their loved ones, especially the children who relied on their parents.
