Reports emerged on Saturday that the pair were to divorce amid claims the supermodel was fed up with her husband's 'hard partying'.
However, in an official statement this morning, the couple blamed their split on 'growing apart'.
The statement read: 'While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.
'We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.
I'm speechless over this! I really feel for Heidi:-(

I think it is sad when people say, 'they have grown apart'. We could all grow apart. The key is to work at it and respect each other. I have been with my husband for over 20 years - yes and so young... We do not grow apart but try to appreciate each other and work out issues. The grass always seems brighter and greener on the other side but sometimes your eyes deceive you! lol
did they say divorce? or just a separation?? i have been married to my hubby for 20 years, but there was a time we wanted to take a break.. maybe they just need a break.. but not the rachel/ross break..

@ Academy for Girls, "We were on a break!!" lol. Seriously though, I loved the two of them together. I love to see two different people from different backgrounds making it work.
silly mistake marriage is not a bed of roses, that's what celebs dont knw. it a pity it has to end this way. *sigh* any way its their biz.
