I know is no longer a new story when you hear about people killed by animals they classified as house pets. As for me i love animals a lot but not all. Unfortunately i don't have any house pet and i don't intend having for now. Last week a pregnant women in San Francisco was killed by one of her pit bulls, her mauled body was found by her husband. I can imagine how he felt when he came across the body of his late pregnant wife, so sad. A man also testified about his neighbors 3 year old son who was severely mauled in the face and torso by a six year old family pit bull which has never shown any sign of aggression. You can imagine a man who lives in the 15th floor which is the last floor of the building where he lives breeds a python, one day he discovered that the python has escaped from it's cage, he notified the state authority about the ugly incident and all the residents of that building were evacuated for 3 days in a nearby shelter just because a tenant decide to breed a dangerous animal, luckily they found the python dead, probably it was killed by someone who lives in same building with him. The state government made him paid for all the inconveniences he caused people. Guess that serves him right.
I have read so many articles about pit bulls " for and against", i love dogs a lot but is good for people to have enough information about this particular breed of dog which does not have good reputation. Sometimes i ask myself this questions: Why do people still have such animals in their homes? Why are people still buying them? Why would this dog kill his owner? Yet people buy them everyday despite all this tragic stories. Some people are saying it should be a requirement to take your dog (no matter the breed) to a reputable obedience training class in order to get it licensed and registered to avoid being killed by the dog. How good does this sound? For me it doesn't make sense at all when it comes to pit bulls. Many said they buy pit bulls for protection, then what happens at the end? I know and have seen so many sweet dogs one can buy and bring home where there are children instead many parents prefer buying some dangerous animals that would end up killing their own kids or that of other people. That is why is very important to know the type of family your children hangs out with or the type of neighbors you have so that you don't end up being victim of such ignorant situations. Parents please for the sake of your kids and innocent people out there, try as much as possible to put into consideration the type of animals you intend bringing home cause you might end up buying what will eventually take your own life.
Hope you all have a great week. xx
