Massage At It's Peak.

An Israeli health and beauty spa is offering a snake massage for its customers.
Miss Barak believes that physical contact with the reptiles can be a relaxing experience. The treatment consists of six non-venomous snakes. The size of the snakes depends on the type of massage - the larger ones are said to alleviate deeper muscle tensions and the smaller ones create a 'fluttering' effect. You can also find small fishes, earth worms, and so many weird creatures in beauty spas this days. Well what do you have to say about this. Are you for or against.

Inner Passion Of Life.

I love music a lot. When i was in high school i belong to some few music groups and i was also in our church choir. Not only that, i always like getting involved in any music/singing activities back then. Some people are just too lucky to be born with the X- factor ( music talent) while some people have to acquire it. Well so sad to say,  i  belong to the group that tried to acquire it.  Many people I've come across wished they have good vocal and some that  have don't even know what to do with it. I'm very selective on the type of music i sing and also on the type of music i listen to. When it comes to choosing a profession  on what i want to do in the entertainment world, i will first go for music. Sometimes i wonder why i didn't get that voice of a nightingale.
Just saying because i know how to sing so many beautiful songs by amazing artists and also how to compose mine. Music is life,  but not all music  music can bring peace and harmony in a society. The pleasure that results from listening/singing to music we love stimulates the nerves and does so many wonders to our health.  I know there are some things you wish you know how to do but still think you can't get it perfect or even you don't have the potentials or you don't have time for it anymore. A friend was telling me to enroll in a vocal class and i laughed it off because i have already made up my mind that music is no longer my passion . I keep singing to myself, kids and friends but not for the public which i would have loved.  I believe that i don't need to waste my time on thinking how to better my vocal because there are so many things i have to do with my life now. The good news is this, i found out long time ago that my kids love music so i enrolled my first son in their kindergarten music class. Which their aim is to help the kids better their vocal and also to help them understand the A-Z of music keywords which will also make them fall in love with their desired music instruments.

I so much love the opportunities kids of nowadays are getting and also parents are really playing a great role in supporting their children on the things that makes them happy.
Here is my question for you:  I  will like to hear what your inner  passion is? That thing you would have really loved to do that you didn't get the chance  of going deep into . ( One sentence can describe it all in the comment box) Thanks for sharing.

Keeping Kids In A Healthy Track.

Trying to keep children in a healthy eating track can be very difficult. What they want- sweets, sugary snacks, junk foods etc . Getting them to eat healthy meal, sugar free snacks,  can be very difficult, stressful and time consuming- but ultimately worth it.
Starting the kids early with a variety of healthy recipes helps the child develop into a healthy adult and it also helps the child not to be a picky eater. Children don't like it when new recipe is being introduced. They always want to stick to their old recipes, but we all know is not possible. Remember does old recipes they want to stick with, was once a new recipe. All you need to do is to keep persisting. But i found out that there are some certain food a child will never ever eat no matter how hard you try. I also observed that sometimes kids grow up eating veggies and fruits but at a certain point in their life they stop eating them  for no reason and pick up later.  In our house when i was growing up, my mother tried so much to make me drink oatmeal but it didn't work for her, yet she didn't give up, she persisted to be serving that to me until i started drinking it. Since then  i still enjoy my oatmeal  like never before.

Below are some few tips that helped me introduced veggies and fruits to my kids and hope it works for you:
* Introduce fruits and veggies as early as possible in the child's  life. Especially when is time to introduce solid  after breast feeding. ( mashed/purees)
* Planning meals, cooking with the kids, and buying the food stuffs with them helps by promoting a positive attitude to a healthy diet.
* Prepare the child's favorite meal with lots of vegetables. The child might reject it for the first time, but ends up liking it the second time.
* Do not force the child to eat the meal.
* Avoid spanking/threatening  the child to eat a particular meal
* Try as much as possible to let him/her know how proud you would be if he/she eats the veggies/fruits.
* Allowing kids to eat alone in this issue is not encouraging, is recommended you eat with them in that way it gives them more appetite and joy.
* Always tell them positive stories about veggies/fruits.
* Allow them to get involved  in setting the dinning table.
The kids will make some changes if small goals are set for them, in that way they know how to eat well for good health throughout life. If you have any other tips that worked for your kids, we would love to hear from you.

The Power Of Prayer.

I do believe that there is something to this "power of prayer"
"There are a hundred reasons to cry but a thousand reasons to smile! AND A THOUSAND REASONS TO THANK GOD"
Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face , walked into a grocery store...
She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries. She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food. John Longhouse , the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leaves his store at once. Visualizing the family needs , she said: 'please, sir! I will bring the money as soon as i can.' John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store. Standing beside a counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a heavy reluctant voice, "Do you have a grocery list?" Louise replied, yes sir. "O.K' he said, 'put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, i will give you that amount in groceries..'Louise hesitated a moment in a bowed head, then she reached to her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed. The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down. The grocer , staring  at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, "I can't  believe it". The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more. The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement. It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said:
'Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands.'
The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence. Louise thanked him and left the store...The other customer handed a fifty -dollar bill to the grocer and said; It was worth every penny of it.
ONLY GOD KNOWS HOW MUCH A PRAYER WEIGHS...

How Is Everyone Spending Their Last Days Of Summer?

This year summer is  indeed a very beautiful one. Many families are really enjoying their  holidays after a very ice-cold winter, many decided to go camping with their kids, many decided to take a long road trip to neighbouring countries, many decided to spend some weeks with old friends,  many decided to spend it at home in a different way, etc. We all  know how hectic/stressful  it is with little kids at home during the holidays, it can be very stressful if you don't make out a perfect plan for them during the holidays. We adults can stay indoors from morning till night without feeling it as long as we have all the favorite things we enjoy eating and drinking. But what happens to the kids? They also want something different and if they don't get it at that point in time nothing else can solve that problem not even their favorite programs, cookies, ice cream etc can solve it. All they ask for is just for you to give them that opportunity to explore the beauty of nature by taking them to the children's park, beach, swimming pool, zoo, carnivals or even to play outside there own home. Our summer holidays is really fun but unfortunately is coming to an end because  school starts again in not less than 2 weeks. My kids wished that summer will remain forever. We decided to engage ourselves in swimming activities which we attend 3 times in a week. My kids are really enjoying every bit of it and the remaining days of the week we use it for more fun activities. I believe that i must not swim like a fish before i start enjoying the water. Staying in the water alone does a great deal to your  my body both mentally, emotionally and physically.

So how are you enjoying the last days of summer or how did you enjoy yours?
