Cancer is now the second leading killer disease in the world. Nearly everyone knows someone who has had or has cancer. Is not just one disease but many diseases. There are more than 100 different types of cancer. And do you know that, there are so many ways you can avoid cancer, i mean most cancers can be avoided but not all.  Medical Studies found out some steps on how you can prevent breast cancer.

Here Are Some Few Steps To Prevent Breast Cancer

1. Maintain a healthy body weight
Weight gain is a very important factor. You have to try and maintain a normal body weight. Women that are over weight are at higher risk of getting breast cancer.

2. Minimize your alcohol intake
I know it might sound impossible for many to stop/avoid intake of alcohol. Studies found out that consuming more than one alcoholic beverage a day can increase breast cancer risk by as much as 20-25 percent.

Smoking is responsible for not only lung cancer, but many other types of cancer. One of the best ways to prevent cancer is to quit smoking or never start.  If you are not a smoker, avoid secondhand smoke. Do not lit a cigarette for a smoker, don't stay in the same environment with a smoker. Because the smoke contains more than 60 known carcinogens".

4. Consume much of  fruits and veggies
Fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants, which help repair our damaged cells. Green, orange and yellow fruits and vegetables are your best bet to help prevent cancer.

5. Take up a tea habit
The healing powers of green tea have been valued in Asia for thousands of years. Some scientists believe that a chemical in green tea called EGCG could be one of the most powerful anticancer compounds ever discovered.

6. Buy more of organic foods
They’re grown without added pesticides or hormones.
